IE7 Beta 1 is available for download if you have an MSDN subscription. If you go to the IE7 blog you will see that while they have made "little progress for web developers in improving our standards support" they have fixed some of the old compliance bugs. They also implemented a select few CSS 2 features. The most notable of these are:

  1. Fixing the float positioning bugs
  2. CSS 2.1 selectors (child, adjacent, attribute, first-child, etc.) ;)
  3. Adding the hover psuedo element on all elements
  4. Better printing control - shrink to fit and orphan control. You can also turn off headers and footers which is very handy for receipts and invoices.

Call me easy to please, but I'm quite happy with the list of changes above. Now I just need to get my hands on a copy to see if it is all true :).
